Hey, if you still want to play it then they made the game good enough to deserve your money.
People need to stop trying to justify piracy and just admit they're cheap. Buy the fucking game or don't play it. If you still want to play it, then obviously the game was still good enough.
Is it still piracy if you buy the game and then also download an illegitimate version and play using that one? Sort of like how some people hack OS X onto non-Apple computers... Hackintosh communities always advise people to buy a copy of OS X even if they end up downloading an unofficial version and using that instead. Then at least you can say you did buy it, even if you violated the TOS.
I guess legally speaking it IS still piracy, but if you pay for it I don't see the issue. In the past I believe the biggest legal problem with that has been the fact that in downloading the game you are also uploading to other people who may not have paid for it.
