Well, I never thought I would say I am happy to be running Windows apps. But, running them through Codeweavers Crossover products are just too dang cool. Posting from IE5 on Mandrake 8.2. 🙂

Would post a screenshot, but I am used to running Blackbox and am REAL new to KDE.

It's okay, I use their CrossOver Plugin for QuickTime/ Realplayer/ShockWave and it works great. I don't like the Windows Media Player 6.4 they use though because I get better preformance from Mplayer and XINE when it comes to M$ formats.

P.S. Am waiting for WINEX 2.0 with DirectX 8.0 support to come out pretty soon from Transgaming.

I thought about getting the Crossover office, but I really can't say that I use MS Office at home too much. 😛
That's what work computers are for.

However, I do use transgaming's WineX and love it. As soon as they get directX working good, I'm dumping
my windoze system. I can't live w/o my Tony Hawk 3!

Hmmm, that WineX looks pretty neat. Are games like Max Payne, JKII supported? And what excatly will DX8 give it, will it pretty much allow all windwos games to run, like MOHAA?

Well, I bought the Crossover plugin for home, and work bought both for me. 🙂

Both products work great so long as you don't have a funky setup. It is so wierd opening up a movie trailor and seeing quicktime for windows startup inside the browser like it should. 😀
