Shirtaday is selling 'the code' on shirts today (you can pick a color on the site) for $13.00. The deal is that the price goes down as more people buy and then everyone gets a refund for the total discount at the end of the day. Get one before the AACS shuts it down.
 
The seller talks of the RIAA, but wouldn't the MPAA care more about HD-DVD being cracked?

edit: Looks like they changed the first reference from RIAA to MPAA, but still left the second.

I'm wondering, isn't it technically a federal offense to possess the code?

Not saying I don't want the shirt, it's a cool idea, but wouldn't it be illegal just to have it?
 
Hey Guys.. This site is awesome.. i have order a ton of shirts from them, 4.05 USPS priority shipping.. get in a couple of days.

Great customer service, the refunds are processed in 24 hours.
 
I bet people would recognize the Lost numbers before those numbers. I had no clue what those numbers were until I read the description.
 
Or go HERE and get shirts, mousepads, thongs...yes....thongs. Higher prices but offset by more variety.

In the end got a t-shirt from the OP's link (thanks) and should be only around $9 once their refund amount is settled.
 
I rather not get beat up on the schoolyard, this reminds me of the Simpsons when Martin wears his Wang Computers shirt.

this is obviously not a hot deal. 13 dollars for a shirt plus 4 dollars shipping? com'on. There's a refund supposely but they are still charging you 13 dollars on the checkout page!?

this is a company that's exploiting this opportunity for their own gains, they are stirring up sentiments against riaa/mpaa and raking in profits from it, which, ironically, runs contrary to the purose of the code printed on their t-shirts.

unless this is a ira 501c3 organization, or they have decided to donate all proceeds to digg, do NOT let them take advantage of you.

meanwhile, i DO urge you to pass out 09f911029d74e35bd*4156c56356**c0 flyers or anything you can think of, using any resources you have. Use that company printer if you have to, don't get yourself fired though....

ps. edited the code before the *beep* *beep* mods do anything. they banned coupon codes who knows what they might do next. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!

 
Anyone have any more information on this "code"? What is it, how does it work, how do you use it? Whats an HD-DVD, can I play that in my current DVD drives/burners? How do you make a backup copy, do you need another HD-DVD to backup onto or can you backup onto your computer or standard DVD?

Im curious because I have a legitimate collection of movies as does my sister (and her kid) and would love to make backups. Dont know how many copies of spiderman ect shes gone through (kids eat DVDs you know).
