I have ffdshow, and i want to get k-lite mega codec pack. My question is whether k-lite mega codec pack will work through WMP, which i play all my movies through. Thoughts?

Now I could say a few things but the million dollar question is what is the need for that garbage pack if you got ffdshow? 🙂
 
For some reason it wouldnt open up .mp4. I just dl'd k-lite mega codec pack, and installed the newer version of ffdshow. Seems better now. I installed the playback only option for k-lite, heh.

What options do you have enabled for ffdshows video and audio codec? For vid i have postprocessing and sharpening.

 
Ohhh didn't realize mp4 was an Apple/Quicktime product. Needless to say I avoid that and Real nearly completely unless I absolutely life-threatening have to. Well for that I recommend QuicktimeAlternative and for the pain in the ass Real stuff, get Real Audio Alternative.
