Ok, downloaded an AVI, and I'm not getting video. WMP 7.1 accessess the codec d-base and can't find anything. I have divx 3.11, Radius Cinepak, indeo, indeo I.263, indeo 3.2, indeo 5.10, IR41_32AX, MS RLE, MS video 1, msh261.drv, msh263.drv, & msyuv.dll as all the codec's listed in the video codec's properties. Naturally the WMa/WMV codec's are installed as well. Does anyone have any idea what codec this AVI could be? Only one I could think of would be MS's mp4, the codec divx is derived from. And incase anyone is wondering, the AVI I downloaded is an episode of gargoyles.
Is there some type of scanner that can indentify what codec a video file is?
