Code Red...MD's new flavor!!!

Who here has tried it? I tried it, but I can't deduce what it's made of, is it cherry flavor added or is it just red coloring added to the plain Dew? What is it?

It is spose to be cherry flavored hence the red food dye.

I like it, its a good break from jus drinkin regular mountin dew all the time.

I'm an avid dew drinker, but I'm trying to accept Code Red. It just doesn't seem to entice me to drink it, so that I may get through an all-nighter. But I do find it quite smooth on the taste buds. I tried it chilled, reminds me of a 7-Eleven slushy. I love those things.

It definitely has a cherry flavor to it. Can seem to taste the dew flavor though, but is definitely different from other cherry sodas.

It is funny that I was thinking about posting about this and then refreshed and this topic popped up.

red drinks, in general, suck ass. That new one doesn't taste anything like any sort of Dew-variant should taste like. Dew is my FAVORITE drink, and that red crap is ruining it.

I've tried Cherry Coke, and it tastes rancid. Normal Coke already burns the throat, but that Cherry one is too much. I am getting accustomed to Code Red b/c I find it smoother and tastier than most other cherry sodas out there.

I finally tried it... i happen to like it (prolly the only person) .. and my local mall has that code-red game... I won a keychain woulda liked a shirt but i'll settle for the keychain

I agree. Less carbonation than the 7-UP though. I kinda like it.

Well it isn't bad, but I prefer regular...or even better the 7-11 slushie version. Of course, with 55% more caffeine in Code Red it certainly has a place in life...especially around midterms.

Now for Code Red, I like it. It's a good change from regular MD. But you can't replace the good ol tried and true!

However, I quit pop/soda/coke so I don't drink it anymore...so far.
