COD4 LAN Multiplayer?

I didn't install PunkBuster since I can't play online (satellite).
Multiplayer won't load without PunkBuster and I don't want to install it if I don't have to.

My question is:
Can I set up a multiplayer game with just bots on my machine?
Like UT2K4?
If so, I'll go ahead and install it.

I dont think that the multiplayer has an "add bots" option, sorry.

yeah no bots and something mus be wrong if you can't load the game without pb because my friend did it just fine.

It comes up with an error message about PunkBuster and locks my machine. 3 finger salute does no good, I have to use the power button to shut down.

Sux about no bots, I'll have to look into WISP. It's getting close to my neighborhood.
