Heh. COD4 is actually a 'near future' war spanning the Middle East and Eastern Europe/Russia.

during the making of this game the guys at infinity ward actually had cod3.exe files to execute cod4

LOL... where have you been? It's been on consoles for quite a while now.

Anyway, I really liked CoD2. CoD3 was OK, but it wasn't nearly as good as two. So I'm quite happy Infinity Ward is developing this game instead of Trey Arch (sp?).

This one is getting higher and higher on my list. COD2 was a lot of fun...it's that simple. It wasn't the most polished or the most realistic or the best graphics...it was just fun. I'm hoping the same formula transfers over to COD4 as I'm sick of the WW2 theme...and this game looks great.
