I haven't been playing much, but damnit, that sucks. I would love it if there was a great multiplayer FPS that had no sniper rifle. The sniper rifle just changes the dynamics of the game, and doesn't make much sense in a 6 on 6 match anyway. I enjoy matches much more when no one is sniping. I can handle playing with snipers, it's just not as much fun to me. One thing you can say about Halo is that there's a limit on the number of sniper rifles. And when I kill someone with a sniper rifle in Halo, I usually steal it so they can't go back for it. :evil:

I'd have to disagree... played team deathmatch for 1.5 hours or so today and I didn't see anymore snipers than there were before.

I've seen it mixed. Some games, everyone is sniping. Other games, they aren't.

I actually had one guy on my team bitching because everyone wasn't sniping. :laugh: He didn't like it that people were running around with silencers and UAV jammers.

Sorry, but in 30 or so levels gained since the patch, it hasn't been a snipe fest - at least for me. I was surprised that I was the only one sniping on Overgrown and Crash last night (trying to skill up my M21.)

Why does it take so long to join a game now? It seems like I'll get stuck in a pre-game lobby with 2 or 3 other players, and I wait for 10-15 minutes for just a few more people to join. That used to never happen before the patch.

I've played about 4 hours this week and it doesn't seem like a snipe fest, but I've noticed a hell of a lot more people using the acog scope.

It's gonna take me a while to get used to this. I had roughly a 2:1 kill ratio before the patch, and now i'm lucky if I can come to 1:1. The respawning is what's killing me the most and I thought it was addressed in this patch. I'll spawn, take a few steps and I'm dead again.

I've played enough to with the patch to say that 30% of the time I am killed within 3 seconds of spawning. I don't know what the fuck is going on with it. I'm about to stop playing the game.

The sniping seems to have died down now, I played for 3 hours last night and it wasn't a huge issue. However the spawn camping got pretty annoying. And I've pretty much had it with headquarters at this point, if you're playing for your team to win it's just random dumb luck, whoever's team keeps spawning at the HQ's will win.

My cuz and I played HQ last night ... on shipment. Who's idea was it to have a 12 player HQ game on that tiny arse map? JEES - neither of us will play HQ anymore.

That is my favorite HQ map, it's such a cluster-f.
