Our friends at Xboxygen are reporting that Activision has announced that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will storm store shelves on October 30, with a European release to follow on November 9. In case you haven't heard, Call of Duty 4 wound up being one of the most impressive looking titles at E3, hands down. The level of graphical detail is simply astounding and really has to be seen in motion to be appreciated. Xbox 360 owners will get chance to do that very soon in the upcoming COD4 multiplayer beta. For the latest news on the beta, keep your eye on CharlieOscarDelta.com. In the meantime, mark your calendars. On October 30, Call of Duty is back

hmm, i think oct 30 has been the date for a while now, but i could be wrong. in fact, that's what i have listed on my "games to buy this fall/winter" list
 
It's sad that I was annoyed that COD4 looked so good because there's already too many games to play this fall. I still haven't finished R6V yet...

I know, I'm actually a little happy UT3 was delayed on the 360 just so I wouldn't be tempted to pick it up.
 
Ahhh, I need to get back to the states. To many awesome games coming out and I don't dare bring a newer console over here.

Multiplayer better step it up like COD: united offensive did.

CoD3 wasn't developed by Infinity Ward like CoD2 and CoD4.
