couple quick thoughts. I have mixed feelings about the game. It isn't that great but it is fun. It is WAY too fast paced, you don't have to wait at all the respawn which is a big big factor. I've found that camping or rushing both have their place in the game, you can do well with either, but I think rushing is better.

The lack of dedicated servers isn't THAT bad, but compared to the other games out there, it is bad. The lag isn't the main problem, its the matchmaking and process of setting up the games etc.

Overall I find that most of the MW2 complaints are lame and not true, but that doesn't mean this game is very good. I think if anything, the playing style is what people would have problems with. If you enjoy the gameplay I don't see why you would have a big problem with the game. For me, I'll play a little more today before the free weekend is over, but wouldn't pay more than $20 for the game. Oh, and the single player is HORRIBLE, don't bother

Yeah, meant to come back in here and say something. I fired up Steam last night and noticed it was downloading an update for MW2 and sure enough, after the update, I fired it up and played for a few minutes, before I got tired and shut it down.

I played during the last free weekend. Had a pretty good time, even considered buying it (since I had sold my Xbox 360 copy already). But I decided it wasn't worth it. Actually I probably would have played over the weekend if I had kept the files, but I deleted it and I don't really want to redownload it again.

Not worth the money though.

I played last free weekend too. I'm 23 hours in now and already getting bored with it. it's pretty cool, but to fast paced, to many cheap kills and a lot of assholes playing. Would buy it for $5. lol
