Yeah I was hoping by some miracle it was going to be free on the PC. Disappointed.

I don't think I'll get it, mostly because I don't believe IW has done enough on supporting the game with minor fixes and balancing, and especially with cheaters.

Plus it wouldn't have hurt to have a few more maps. I like both originals but they said they pretty much ported them unchanged, so really it's only three new maps they had to work on.

$15 is ridiculous...

I actually liked MW2 too. It's a fun, easy to access shooter. I can just pick it up, use my noob friendly gun, do pretty well for a couple rounds and call it good. And fortunately there are so many people playing that if there's bad ping or lots of cheaters, it's easy enough to switch lobbies using the matchmaking system.

But $15 for a handful of maps...? It's too bad kids growing up with this generation of consoles don't know about a real mod community -- ala CounterStrike and the amazing game it was, for free. Now people's will just take this kinda thing for granted :-/.

I purchased MW2 for $25. There's no way I'm paying $15 to have another 2 game types to the existing 10.
