The developer is NOT your mommy and does not owe you free stuff.

Don't get it twisted. This isn't about getting free stuff. Who said anything about that? Nobody except you. This is about developers planning in advance how to extract maximum $$$ out of customers by releasing games in pieces rather than all at once. This is about how DLC almost always ruins the multiplayer aspect of games for those who don't have it. It's a BS business model that stinks of corporate greed.

Greed is what makes america great. If you dont want something, dont buy it.

Theres a billion poor people who would literally kill to have access to computers and AC and schools. To them we probably look horrible and evil and greedy. Our greed MADE those things.

I can get the premium service for my BF3 game for 20 dollars. Almost seems like a no brainer, but I am afraid in a month peeps will dump the game for BF4. I honestly don't see a lot of different with BF4 though *shrugs*.

I bought BF3 premium for about $60.00 in Jan 2013 and still have not played the game yet (no gaming computer yet). I am hoping a significant amount of people will still play BF3 until BF4 premium comes out.

If not, I guess I made a bad purchase and will have to live with that fact.

Haven't played bops in a while, been sticking to MW3. BOPS all about the nuketown 24/7 mode, but the only way to find games is to turn of DLC Maps since no one buys them anymore

They know people have the money, so they take it. Its clever. You pay $60 now and are happy for a bit, but don't want to be left behind so you buy the DLC as well for another $60 over a short time.

There was an interview where activision CEO bobby kotick said that he wanted to sell games for more than $60. I guess he figured out how to do it and have people still buy it.
