COD: Advanced Warfare Free?

I'm new to steam and I have a question.
I just created a steam account and Cod: Advanced Warfare multipayer
is on my home page, when I click install it dosent ask for money.
And I am now downloading it. And I was wondering is this a full game?
Will I need to have the non multiplayer version first?

I tried in the PC Gaming section, but no one answered me 🙁
 
Yeah, I see it too in my Steam Library and it says Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Multiplayer - 1 Days Left.

It appears Activision is doing a promotion to entice more multiplayer users to their game by offering this portion free.

So I can play it without downloading anything else that costs money?

Yes, you should be able to download the multiplayer portion for free and play to your hearts content. It doesn't appear like its limited to this weekend only - I think it will be permanently in your library. I'm going to download it tomorrow.
