COD:5/W@W gets zombie-riffic this weekend

In celebration of the outstanding online success of Call of Duty: World at War, we are pleased to present the community with two gifts this weekend!

First, because of the huge popularity of the Nazi Zombies game mode, we're unlocking the Nazi Zombies Co-Op playlist for Xbox LIVE and PSN public games. Even if you haven't completed the Solo campaign, you can now play Nazi Zombies online right away!

Second, this is a Double-XP MP weekend. Everyone will be eligible for Double-XP starting Friday, January 16, 2009 @ 10:00AM PST!

This update also includes "hot fixes" for a number of competitive multiplayer issues that have been reported. Stay tuned to the forums for news about the upcoming full patch/title update.

Hopefully they fix a lot of the issues with getting out of maps and some of the overall bullet lag.

And for the record Zombie Strippers was an awesome movie, and by awesome I mean terrible, yet oh so funny.

I didn't even know they did such a thing as double XP weekends. Pretty cool. I'm gonna have to play this weekend, get my level 28. It's slow going when you suck at the game.

I went through the full 10-prestige thing in COD4 but I am staying at 65 in CODW@W, so the double XP won't do me much good anyways. But I will be playing this weekend!

I've not had my copy long so I'm @32. Game whores move on and think the world moves with them.

Especially roundhouse. There's like 33 glitches on that map.

Anyone have any idea when double xp ends? I went from level 47 3rd prestige to 30 4th prestige from this weekend haha.
