Guaranteed buy for me - already pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, first time I've ever wanted a collector's edition.
Anxious for the beta I got a code for through pre-ordering, but also very anxious just to get the full game.

I think it's abundantly clear that GOW 2 is NOT and WILL NOT come out on PC *EVER*. I'll bet anyone with anything.

If anyone read the part I had bolded, I'd say it's clear I don't plan on even touching GOW2. I didn't really enjoy GOW2. The only part I really liked about it was the addition of the cover system, which I'm glad got picked up by other developers.

... and if you read your own post, you'd see the part I highlighted above, which is what I was responding to.

Also, since this is now apparently a reading comprehension thread, this was never about the PC, cross-platform friendliness, or Resistance. It's about Gears of War 2 and Call of Duty 5 on the Xbox 360 (with the 360 being implied by the inclusion of GOW 2 in the poll).

Since you don't have a 360, your input - quite frankly - was never necessary; it was merely tolerated until you got snippy .

have you played the beta? it's literally cod4 with a ww2 skin, so i wouldn't say treyarch sucks after playing it. but it feels a little too similar to cod4 for me to get excited about it, and ww2 feels like a step back.

gears2 for me here, that's probably the only xbox360 game i'll buy this year.

it feels like cod4 but the graphics look like cod3.

Same. GoW was way overhyped, unless they just ruined with the PC port, and I've been pretty happy with the CoD series, although I never played 3.
