Seems like a good game what I played of it. It runs great at 1680x1050 with most everything on high/medium with a C2D 2.8ghz,2gb and a 7900GT. Plenty playable for me.

Call of Duty 3 was complete trash. This demo played VERY nicely, and smooth as glass with everything maxed at 1680x1050.

My guess is likely only having 1gb. Do you use Vista or XP? It could be a combo of the CPU and only 1gb. Its def not the video card I had no noticeable slowdowns on a 7900GT so I was keeping 20-30FPS if I was guessing.

First thing I would do is get 2gb.

Then I'd say its a combination of the CPU and memory. Its hard to say if one is more of the bottleneck then the other since newer games benefit from dual core and 2gb memory. Is everything up to date(drivers)?

Just finished the demo. Fun but more interested in how it will play in multiplayer. Ran at high settings with X2 4400+ X1900XTX and 2gb on Windows XP at 1920x1200. Got fps between 45-30.

Just finished the demo on regular mode. Graphics look nice @ 1920x1080 4xaa, forgot to check to see what the other settings were, very playable (30FPS >)).
Rig: 4300@3ghz, 4gb ddr2 800, 7900gt, XPSP2.

I'm not too impressed with the AI, some npc's were using tactical positions while others were not. They do have good aim though. ;) I'll have to try it on hard or uber hard settings. The Demo is way too short, although it did the job as I want more COD4 to play now.

Sounds like a very well-coded game, assuming it looks good, too.

This is an OpenGL game, right?

Anyone else thing the gameplay was a little stale? It felt sort of canned...Iraqi guy A runs behind barrel X...dies...Iraqi guy B runs behind barrel X to take his place, ad infinitum.

Just played through it...50-60FPS @ 1280x1024 with max graphics and no anti-aliasing or anistropic filtering. It was alright, I'm way more interested in the MP. I thought it would look a bit better but, whatever, it still looks nice.

Rig:

Q6600
4GB RAM
HIS 2900PRO
etc.

Yes. This is exactly like CoD2 with no WWII theme. Plus what I was disappointed in is the graphics. It's old looking. SO much good stuff like Bioshock, Crysis, Jericho has me spoiled for a game that looks good.

This is based on proprietary engine? The graphics doesn't look as good as Unreal engine. Textures aren't too great.

It was hovering 35-60fps on my 8600gts everything on maxxed 1440x900 16xAF.

I think this game is worse than Medal of Honor:Airborne. Call of duty 2 was better than this.

1280x1024 2x AFF most things up.

feels exactly like COD2 - totally linear, objective by objective, tells you where to go and buddies show you how to get there.
not bad, but i never warmed up to the COD style gameplay. crysis and GoW have my money at the moment.

I have no idea why but I love Medal of Honor Airborne. I'm just weird that way I guess. :p

Thanks for the domain name, I remembered using it for the last big demo but didn't know what the site was called

I though MOH:Airborne was awesome. It was short but really good. I haven't play multiplayer yet but will soon.
