CoD 4 on PS3

Had a blast playing this last night with some co-workers in a private game, old-school mode, in bog/shipment and some other maps.

I'm an old school PC FPS gamer and I have to say this has THE BEST console FPS control I have ever used on a console. It was as good as my PC FPS experience.

Two thumbs up.

I agree. I bought it for the PC when it came out and loved it. At that time I was anti FPS on consoles because I am a traditional PC/Trackball/KB FPS kinda guy. Got a real good deal on a used copy of COD4 for the 360 and gat it a real good try. Now I am nearly as good in FPS on a console as I am on the PC. Great game.

you must not have been looking very hard if you didn't see how much praise COD4 got. in fact, you must be blind.

oh and those 2 maps you mention are 2 of the worst maps IMO in COD4 ... try others.

Shipment was great with four players.

Ya need to just give in and play online with a bunch of people. 12 or 18 player games are a blast!!

Also, stick with the M16 for a while, probably the single most overpowered gun in the game ^^

I agree. When COD4 came out, I bought both the 360 and PC versions. The PC version has been collecting dust ever since. The game is the absolute best FPS implementation on a console, hands down... so much so, in fact, that it trumps the PC version.
