Coconut milk in coffee tastes awesome

episodic

Lifer
Was out of half/half. Wanted some coffee. Saw can of coconut milk in closet neglected. Thought - why not?

Why not indeed 😛

Mmmmm. . . .

Think coconut rum would do the trick?

Well, if it works for Irish coffee (Irish whiskey + coffee)... what would it be called with rum?

i drink coconut milk instead of regular milk.

You probably drink that stuff from your supermarket that you find next to the soy and almond milks.

Coconut milk from a can - look for it in the Asian/Ethnic section. You won't be drinking this stuff straight because it is kind of thick.

you guys mean like literal coconut milk with no sugar..etc added? i had some right out of a coconut before and it was fng nasty as hell.

Coconut milk from a can thickens when it sits there. If you want it more liquid you need to shake the can or stir it.

Coconut milk is the juices of the coconut blended with the copra(meat). The juices are watery, while the copra is creamy. Together, they make a rich creamy milk. mmmmm
