Little change of pace was just watching the morning news and they had a 45 second blurb about this new jewelry someone was selling.
Showed a young female model, I believe it was New York. And on her were 2 giant hissing Madagascar roaches.
Each roach was alive and covered with gems. Attached to a gold chain and free to crawl around on its leash on her blouse.

Struggling young fashion designers usually have to put up with cockroach-infested studios, but most leave their relationship with bugs at that. Not so LA designer Jared Gold, whose latest 'Victorian Hardcore' collection includes a brooch fashioned from a live Giant Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. The living, crawling insect comes with Swarovski crystals glued to its carapace and instructions for handling (apparently they can last up to a year and a half). Gold says only male roaches can be used as the females tend to give birth at inappropriate times. Chic Happens predicts a PETA-led protest, but Gold isn't worried. "The roaches aren't hurt at all," he says, "and let's face it, not even PETA cares about cockroaches." He could regret saying that..
