Hello,

I've been thinking lately about getting into cockfighting as a spectator sport. I won't be raising any birds (don't live on a farm, LOL) but the betting seems intriguing. Are there any recommended resources for beginners on the net? How can a bird's plumage and demeanor help me separate the winner from the loser? What are recommended betting strategies? Any help is appreciated.

Just because it's legal in Louisiana doesn't make it right. C'mon guys, find a better topic to talk about. I am afraid this one is done.

I now stand corrected, just illegal in 49 states. NM just made it illegal and that leaves only one state, Louisiana, where cock fights are still legal. I expect that to change in the near future.
