They are Coca Colaing the fuck out of the Olympics this year. I must have seen three to four different commercials and then the same commercial play three times practically in a row! And WTF is this leaf they now add? Is that suppose to be good?

My tolerance of commercials and ads is practically zero*. The only time I watch live television with commercials anymore is for NFL games... and even then I'm on my phone or computer checking other stuff during breaks.

* This post brought to you by the refreshing taste of zero-calorie Coca-Cola Zero

Commercials are interesting creatures to me actually, but in large part they are annoying as all hell. Three types come to mind; Lawyer ADs, Medicine ADs, and ADs that take up the whole commercial break like Coca Cola on NBC.

I say commercials are interesting creatures because it's always interesting to see how they use their marketing tactics on the masses. And seeing the same person move from one commercial to another. I even seen an actor end up on a show. Marketing commercials know shit tons on the human psyche.

This song to this day remains in my damn head! But they failed for me personally because I can't remember what car this was used for.

Shit... A commenter said Heineken brought him here. The marketers love this song and she has to be banking. LOL

Edit- Was for Mitsubishi! And I see this song was used in Budlight too! Jebus!

LOL I just remembered that Ink by Chase commercial. "Ink, ink, ink, ink, where would I be without it?" Was a woman talking about her cupcakes, wine and beer company. It was in fact a real business because I found her website. Named Sweet Revenge. They played this mother for I don't know how long! OMFG!

OMG the comments are priceless.

Going above and beyond..... help me out as a small business. What the fuck does that mean?!??!?! Incoherent babble. Corporate grind like everyone else? EVERYONE ELSE?!?!? I've been doing the 12 pack and a bong rip grind like everyone else.

I agree! I don't usually do that, but I intentionally looked up this commercial so I could put in my '2 bits worth' and speak out about how truly annoying this woman is! The way she looks when looking up from behind the counter makes her look like some kind of rodent. This commercial should be banned immediately!

If they really and truly wanted to increase their brand recognition and sales they should bribe Congress to reschedule cocaine from a Class 1 schedule so that it's legal again to add it back to all of their coca cola products.

They wouldn't even need to advertise their product anymore.

Coke has been a HUGE sponsor of the Olympics for the past million years or so. The amount of Coke commercials is hardly anything new.

https://www.olympic.org/sponsors/coca-cola

The company sponsored the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, and has supported every Olympic Games since. Coca-Cola refreshes Olympic athletes, officials and spectators with its beverages during the Olympic Games.

As a partner of all 204 National Olympic Committees and their teams, the company has developed a strong tradition of creating programmes and events to bring the spirit of the Games to consumers in Olympic host cities and around the world. Coca-Cola became a charter member of the TOP Programme in 1986 under the exclusive product category of non-alcoholic beverages. In 2005, The Coca-Cola Company and the IOC extended their partnership agreement for an unprecedented 12 years until 2020.

It worked for me...I now have a body the size of Mt. Olympus... :fat:

It worked for me, as well. My blood has transformed into ambrosia. I think the actual Greek mythological term for this transcendant state is "diabetes". :p
