Oh... I'm not sure if you ever noticed, but Canadian Coke tastes different than US Coke as well.

Oddly enough, the stores in New England will stock Mexican Coke but not the Canadian stuff.

Both are bad for you.

Pepsi is slightly worse for you because it has more sugar in it than Coke. Diet need not apply, aspartame is rat poison and wreaks havoc with my gut.

Also, Pepsi tastes too sweet.

Coke FTW. I limit myself to 1 can at lunch, at most, and really only Mon-Fri.

I always thought they were the same. Granted I haven't been to the US in a long time but I don't recall there every being a difference.

Both are terrible for quenching thirst, WAY too sweet, but Coke is a better booze mixer IMO. I used to like drinking Pepsi with pizza and heavy pasta dishes, but now don't like drinks that are too sweet, which eliminates all sodas.

Pepsi Throwback.

I don't drink soda all that much, at least not the corn syrup stuff. I pretty much only use the throwback when in the mood for rum&coke at home. Probably amounts to three cases per year.

Same here. Regular soda, at least within a few hours of waking up for whatever reason, causes some.....intestinal issues.
I don't know if it's a placebo effect or what, though I'm not sure how my mind could cause these particular symptoms to manifest themselves; if my mind is capable of causing gas to show up out of nowhere, maybe it can spontaneously generate other kinds of matter as well. I doubt that though.
And I'm not much of a fan of the corn industry in its present form. Primary mission: Lobbying. Secondary objectives: Get subsidies, and maybe grow some corn.

Though if there was a similar product for Coca Cola, I'd might buy that. I've seen a variants of Coke that used sucrose as the sweetener. My dad bought it, and he didn't remember where.

Coke/Pepsi...they're different. But I don't know that I've got a preference.

Pepsi if I have a choice but coke isn't bad also.

Now if I ever see cherry coke that's where the money is yet sadly I hardly see it anymore.

Personally I would rather have root beer over all other types though so who the hell cares about these two. 😉

Now for the diets I would have to say diet coke is probably the worst pop ever.

would have never thought that you guys is not used outside of the midwest

what about yah?

When I lived in NM, near Santa Fe, I don't recall lots of "yah" but Latin Spanish was a tricky language, and they seemed to have much more directive tone. It is also a gender specific language, and I think the massive amounts of bilingual people made it so that gender strong phrases were not common.
