For 40 bucks, it's hard to go wrong. Thought I'd mention that I did have trouble playing DVD-R CompUSA brand though .

For the price though... I'm sure it plays normal dvds fine.

I'd just bought a Terapin DVD from Frys for only $34.95.

Loving IT: it plays DVD-R, DVD-RW, SVCD, Mini-DVD, JPG, WMA, MP3.

Best of all - It works like a min-computer. I can just dump any *.mpg or *.vob files into a CDRW,
and have it play on my TV for only $34.95
