From the code used for the promo code, I'm just guessing, but I think it ends in an hour.

50% off w/ promo code 0329VERSALE216, limited offer

I bought three a week ago, and just now got around to trying them.

They ARE completely plug-and-play on my Lenovo Win10 laptop.

$6.99 - 50% off = $3.49

Useful for those little 11.6" Win10 netbook / laptops with eMMC and SD card slots, but no ethernet jack.

In for one. What I'm going to do with it? Well, I guess I'll figure that out later.

Newegg promos/codes/etc generally roll over at midnight Pacific Time, fwiw, but the code is still working now, as well. Anyway, thanks, I grabbed one, too. I don't have an immediate use for it, but for $3.50 out the door, it's worth having around should the need arise...

When I bought mine, I was going by the Newegg reviews (a couple) that indicated it was PnP in Win10. However, there were a few people complaining about a lack of drivers in Win7. So I don't know how well they work in Win7 or Win8/8.1.

They are "driverless" in XP, but that's because they enumerate a Mass Storage Device as well as the Ethernet Device, and the drivers for it for XP are self-contained in the unit. (I don't know if it includes Win7 drivers.)

Win10, though, seemed to have the drivers built-in.

Would be all over this if my ASUS transformer hadn't stopped charging. Can't even use it plugged in any more. :'(

This thing is inexpensive, you never know if you might need a USB-to-Ethernet adapter sometime in the future!

I don't know if they updated the Overview section of the product page after people complained or what (and/or for that matter why they didn't just include a link to the apppropriate page on Realtek's site), but it seems drivers for all Windows versions >= XP (among others) are in fact available if it doesn't auto-install...
