I liked them, but I don't think they are god-like or anything. They were a good band, but I think that is about it.
I didn't even know "You Know You're Right" was released. Just checked out the video and got it off WinMX. Very sweet song....ahead of its time I think. Wasn't it one of the last songs composed before he died?

Me three. Nirvana was my first truly favorite band, and to this day I can easily say they are in my top 3. I can still listen to Nevermind, beginning to end, and appreciate every single little detail in it.

I like that single that was just released... Chris N. said that it had been sitting in his basement for 7-8 years... it isn't even finished and it is climbing the charts very quickly..

When I was in High School, Nirvana was my favorite band BUT since then I have gone back and listened to all of Nirvana's albums. They are not that impressive. They just happened to break the scene first. Much better music came out of that scene. About 10 years after starting to listen to Nirvana, I have decided that they aren't that big of a deal and weren't that great.
Alice in Chains made MUCH better music in my opinion. I still don't get bored of AIC's music where I can't stand to listen to Nirvana for long periods of time anymore.

Me three, I even have a couple of imports. I'm looking forward to the releases and the Journals. The one thing I did know is that Cobain, was very insecure and he didn't like the rock star spot light.
When they did the unplugged with MTV they built a fake black Box, I forget what it was for but it was his "security" box.
Nirvana was my favorite band for several years. I have all their albums and many of their bootlegs. I also have a big mp3 file of demos and concerts.
I dont mean to thread crap, but you must be in the wrong area if after Cobain came up people started saying they didnt like his music. Around here, as soon as that happened, everyone suddenly became a lifelong fan of Nirvana. One girl even started acting like she was the reincarnated Cobain. Im not joking.
Their music is allright, and I could listen to them, but they arent my cup-o-tea.
