Even if Coakley loses Dems will still get a bill to Obama before Brown is seated. House Dems will fall in line when it's all said and done - even they understand the ramifications of not passing a bill.

This will make it difficult to pass the rest of his 2010 agenda though.

I’m enjoying the Liberal/Democrat/Heathen talking heads. Previously they were jubilant, confident and dripping with hubris.

Tonight they are crestfallen, embarrassed and shifty.

Some say they can hear the unmistakable cries of true patriots in Boston Harbor throwing the tea overboard!

America is back!

WOW! Coakley only won Boston by 1%.

You go patriots. Please Massachusetts, pull this off. You were the originals.

Like I said earlier this is the state where revolution began, and many of us, myself included are damn proud of that. This is where the revolution against the pile of horse-shit we elected president begins.

idk, if I were in congress and the most important thing in the world to me was getting reelected (because, let's be honest, that's how politicians work), this would make me second guess my vote.

Not going to happen.

Just like in Florida - move away from the heavy population centers and people are not so lockstep.

Outside of the Rt 128 corridor - people have a different mindset.

Assuming it turns out as it looks likely and Brown wins, the US just got screwed, short memory wins the day, and Massachussets voters did something shameful for years to come.

Now, we'll see if the Democrats decicded counter Republican rule abuse of the filibuster by getting rid of it, an idea that is increasingly appealing so the people who won the elections can govern.

CNBC just showed the election centers for Brown and Coakley. Browns packed. Coakley not so much.Flags displayed, bleachers erected etc and about 3 people.
