suicide is rough on people. as this thread demonstrates it is a very hard concept for some people to understand.
my best wishes to all those people in helping them understand this mans actions or, at the very least, coming to terms with them and accepting this man who they no doubt loved as a good human being.

the saddest thing to me about suicide has always been the illusion of control everyone around the situation contemplates having had. and the blame that follows. good luck to you and those who pray are praying for you, buddies.

The problem with this world is that there are too many people like you. There is such a thing as empathy, to be able to put yourself in others situation, if you lack that ability, you are a sociopath, i believe that that label fits you, i pity you.

Friend of mine's dad killed himself when we were in grade school (and he found him), he was never the same after that. Special care should be used with his son, that's all I'm saying.

Because you're a moron who doesn't realize that sometimes suicide is an uncontrolable act due to physiological disorders in the brain. You also don't realize that the OP was friends with this guy, and regardless of your opinion, he's hurting. Go figure that someone would post expecting even utter asshats to be sympathetic...but you've proven that wrong.

Gotta realize its not your fault.

I once ignored someones "call for help" (I was the only person at the time they were talking to) and ignored them and basically said don't bother me anymore. Then the person (family member) went and committed suicide a day later.

So tell your dad its not his fault. Usually something is wrong with the person to begin with (not saying its their fault) but he couldn't have anticipated like me. As the head guy it was his job to tell them to speed up, I mean they are in business to make money. Unfortunately that guy got too worked up ... 🙁

Please...if he was that crazy he should have seeked professional help...and why did he have firearms in the house if he was indeed as crazy as you seem to believe...sure, he could have offed himself a number of ways if there were no firearms present but since he used a gun that is irrelevant...

I know it sucks if someone you know dies, especially if you are friends with him or her...that's life and will happen again before he knows it...(why share it on this forum, I don't know, he might as well share it with the broad at the McDonald's drive-thru and ask for a prayer to go along with that McChicken sandwich...it makes just as much sense)...

Look, I did not know the guy but he obviously didn't try too hard for a normal life...get some meds, lose the peacemaker and go to therapy...
Bottom line is people shoot themselves for a number of reasons...all of which are under their control one way or another...it's not as if he was on PCP and thought he could fly now is it...

And as for the thread of my own...I think you and I both know that would be an impossibility....
