Interesting read.

Fox leads in ratings. But CNN has the most viewers and ad income.

If you're an image-oriented product--a BMW, Mercedes, Lexus--it's not even a question, you go with CNN. There's no comparison in the quality of the journalism--CNN is light years ahead in objectivity and reporting--and I don't think Fox's 'New York Post on TV' approach appeals to the most desirable consumers."

Hmm...the Communist News Network vs Faux News. I go back and forth so it averages out to the truth.

I compared CNN and Fox on their coverage on the Iraq invasion before, during, and after and I have not watched Fox since. Fox was an advocate for the war whereas CNN reported the war.

Fox has a political axe to grind. Their programming sounds like WABC, conservative talk radio. Perhaps you are comfortable with this, I'm not.

that is news? :Q

It seems this liberal bias CNN has is something only conservatives seem to notice...while everyone agrees that Faux News is obviously a little more than "conservative biased"...

Ehhh..24hr Cable News networks are all teh suck IMO.

PBS and BBC offer the best, well rounded coverage IMO.

I'm not a big fan of either, but if I had to go with one as my news source it would definitely be CNN. CNN might be slightly biased towards the left, but faux news is pretty much designed to get ratings among the dumb masses and has very little to do with actual journalism. Everything, it seems, can be dumbed down into a good patriotic sound-byte.

I watch which ever one has the hottest chick on at the time I need a news fix. CNN has that Rudi Bakhtiar, and even Paula Zahn isn't too hard on the eyes. But FOX News has Juliet Huddy, Kiran Chetry, Heather Nauert, Laurie Dhue, and the list goes on. News chicks are hawt, in an empty puppet headed sort of way. [Quagmire] Ohhh yeahhh! [/Quagmire]

Fox can be more fun to watch, but it's far more biased than CNN. Some of the things that the journalists and reporters, anchors, etc. say are so far away from even trying to be objective that I can't watch fox news for very long.

Joke? The BBC is even more to the left of CNN.

Oh yeah...forgot to check my latest issue of the "Liberal Media Conspiracy Weekly".

So, their coverage is bogus because they, according to you, are left leaning? Funny how the BBC is one of the most respected outlets out there....must just be liberals voting?

Conservatives and their liberal media bias crap...

CNN is about the most biased new station you can get. Its universally biased. At least ABC, CBS, and NBC can vary with the locale. FOX News is usually very good. Case in point. The War in Iraq. CNN constantly covers the suicide attacks against our troops and that the Iraqis want the US out of there. Thats completely bogus. Most of thsoe attacks are from Iranian and Syrian nationals. We soldiers have organized hundreds of charities for the Iraqi people and the children. Food, clothing, medicine, and even shoes are donated to the Iraqi people by Coalition troops. FOX covers this, CNN does not. CNN constantly refers to President Bush as Mr. Bush. A complete breach of etiquette. You always refer to the President as Mr. President or President Bush. CNN followed protocol with President Clinton. FOX follows protocoll with Presidents Bush and Clinton.

On a side note, if you want to argue with me on what I said about Iraq, chew on this. I just got back from 3 months stationed on Kirkuk. Still want to argue?

It's funny, it seems the more conservative you are, the more liberally biased CNN is. Wonder why that is?

My god...I don't know if I can sleep @ night knowing all those poor conservatives out there are constantly being treated unjustly by this widespread liberal media campaign....

OH THE HORROR!!!!

Here a interesting page that set out to document this supposed liberal media bias...

Examining the "Liberal Media" Claim

I'm sure it's probably just a liberal study though, so it's likely all BS...

This is sort of like that Pavlov's dog thing....say something enough...

The Army and Marines have 6 month and year tours. The USAF knows how to run a rotation through our AEF's.

Sometimes for a laugh I will watch the Fox news ticker on the bottom of the screen.

"Do Democrats cause cancer??....find out at 9:00!"

"Democratic party raising funds for communist nations...find out at 9:00!"

"Democratic candidate could be the devil...find out at 9:00!"
