You have to thank 24 hour news networks for that. Having to spend 30 minutes verifying facts means somebody else might post the story before you. I'd suggest everybody vote with their wallet (so to say). If you don't agree with how some news stations run their stories - don't watch them.

In case you haven't see CNN's ratings, thats what most everyone already does. You think for one second "what the people want" crosses their mind? It's not like this administration would let their cheerleaders fail anyhow.

I'm not sure what the issue is here. When I saw this thread, I figured it was about Google blurring the satellite image they already had, not blurring some real time feed. It's completely feasible that they'd blur the area-- possibly so terrorists don't have as precise a map of the area, for whatever reason.

Fuentes's statement does show his ignorance though. He apparently did think Google Earth was real time

Less people, means less advertising money, which in turn means lower profits, which in turn means failure.

CNN anchors are pretty clueless. The worst of them all has to be Wolf Blitzer and Rick Sanchez. Campbell Brown is ok.

Yeah you know the idiots that aren't watching CNN are tuned into Fox.

What's your point? Are you gonna tell us fox is better then CNN? I probably wouldn't know since I hardly watch any of them. But from what I have watched of CNN the drug companies love them. It's just one depressing commercial after another. I wonder if it's the same ones on Fox... Hmmmmmm...

There's nothing presented that suggests they think Google Earth is real time.
