CNN republican debate thread

I'm surprised no one has already created a post about this.

Although this is a better debate than the first one I really wish there was real time fact checking so Americans can see which politicians have a habit of lying or distorting the truth.
As it stands now, almost everything out of Cruz's mouth has been a lie or a distortion.

I actually liked Rand Paul's answers.

This is, quite possibly, the worst field of candidates ever. I noticed CNN has a "Fiorina" is having a strong google search. Unfortunatley it's probably attached to "Plastic Surgery."

Civil discourse.
Interrupting... Talking over each other... ignoring the moderator...

I didn't get to see the "kids table" debate.
I wonder if they were better behaved.

I like Trumps answer, let the people fight it out and we do business with whats left in Syria. Why get involved in that three way mess.

CNN set up this debate for Fiorina. When they were selecting the top 10, Fiorina was in 11th place, so they "skewed" the numbers to "tie" 10th, making 11 seats, allowing #11 Fiorina in.

But since then, Fiorina climbed a little and #11 was Christie.
They could have kept to their original 10 seats, and Christie would have been at the "kids table" where he belongs.

Admittedly, it doesn't really accomplish anything, but it is funny to see Jeb's response to being told that his brother did a shitty job.

I don't see anyone's position in the polls changing too much after this debate.

I think Jeb is having a better night than the first debate, which isn't saying much.
