Well, it looks like the group mind conditioning exercise is in full swing at the Repub Convention, although I have to admit that putting a spit shine on a turd seems to be a well honed tried and true skill that the convention organizers applied to the event.

Just for the giggles, I'm keeping a copy of Trump's speech. And if he wins over Hillary, I'll refer back to it from time to time.

Should be pretty interesting.....or sickening. ;)

To be fair, SP33dy really only promotes Curry. He supports the Warriors and their regular season record only so much as Curry is part of it (He supported the Cavs in the finals)

It's just part of his respect/love fantasies for individuals above groups. For dictators above country.

He didn't support the Cavs, he put in one line that the Cavs would win in 7 and said nothing to support it to cover his ass b/c when the GSW were up 3-1, he proclaimed them the GOAT.

I know, right?

Outside of both having a backdrop, those images are not similar at all.

Blue collar conservatives should be the ones terrified. Coastal liberals have money and options. If economy tanks thanks to Trump it will mostly be blue collar folks getting canned. Guy at Google with a few hundred thousand in savings is not going to be sweating a recession, maybe he'll use it to buy some houses of foreclosed blue collar conservatives, and then they'll be paying him rent.

"Liberals terrified" - good, that means good turnout for voting in the fall. OP fails to recognize this is a bad thing for his side. Kasich (swing state) just spoke out against Trump. And, I predict, the attack ads for Trump this summer will, in part, focus on his rhetoric which shows how little he appears to want to get along with others internationally. E.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDTBnsqxZ3k Johnson vs. Goldwater. I don't think it would be hard to twist Trump's statements about nuclear weapons in the fight on ISIS to make the same point. This time though, instead of a girl in the country with a daisy, let's make it a large group of little kids in a playground in a metropolitan area.

I think that after this summer's election campaigning, you could see similar election results.

Conservatives are predisposed to gathering around a savior. Trump says he alone is the only one that can fix America, although we have yet to see any policies other than porn is a health hazard and huge tax cuts for the wealthy. I'm not sure how a middle class mechanic benefits from upper class tax bracket cuts. I guess getting those "damn" illegals out of the country would open up some landscaping jobs for the mechanics son to work a summer job.

we "liberals" assume that conservatives masturbate and self-fellate to images of their strong-man autocrats to induce a sense of satisfaction and self-worth that replaces the dark empty core at the center of their soulless hearts.

conservatives assume that liberals run around at night killing babies and ripping unborn fetuses from the wombs of terrified mothers, all while happily stealing the guns of proud and white Americans, cackling with glee as poor black people shoot each other to death.

It confuses me why you think your moral standards are superior.

The typical liberal argument:
1) "Omg repost, lock the thread!"
Actually not a repost, just another attempt to silence things you don't like.
2) "Well, only conservatives watched the speech, of course CNN Instant Poll was 75%!"
Totally delusional as usual. Many liberals watched Trump's speech, especially political junkies including my wife who has direct ties to the O admin. She was practically speechless after it which was a good sign that liberals are worried.

For once the GOP does not have a religious candidate.
"America first" policy resonates.

What Speedy won't tell you is that he's a strong Dem. His Trumpeting is just to provoke and embolden Hilary support. He's been playing the long con for noble ends. He is a patriot.

Speechless as in "that's the most preposterous load of bullshit I ever heard" speechless.

:D

You really are blind when it comes to reading signals, aren't you? Especially from those outside your safe bubble.

And as Dr. P said: IF liberals are "horrified" at Trump's speech, that is a good thing. The naked emperor was never more naked than he was on Thursday night, and far more people saw that and got it than you can possibly hope to understand.

The "horrified" reaction that you are seeing is absolutely not what you want it to be.

(unless jackstar^ is also right. :hmm: )

I don't think any of that will matter. What will matter is the debates between Trump/Clinton that will swing the undecideds.

It's always fun to read him pretend he is married to a woman and that she's a liberal. Yeah... right...

Not horrified, worried. As in Trump did very well in the speech. That is the reaction we are seeing like the liberal in the OP ("America, it was a good run...").

Are we gonna have to put speedy on suicide watch when Trump loses? He's clearly mentally unbalanced to a remarkable degree.

Speedy will be fine--he has his fantasy football charts and squats to cling to.

LK is a greater concern.
