CNN obtains secret Trump-Cohen tape

What it shows is that this sort of thing (using lawyers, creating shell companies to hide payments etc) is so common to trump that he doesn't even flinch when discussing meaning hidden payments.


This guy is corrupt as fuck and I hope this traitor hangs.
 
Other than providing some evidence that Trump was aware of the payment, this sort of feels "meh". Unless someone can educate me more, this is just more noise in a very noisy 7 days.

Its direct evidence of campaign finance violations. In the grand scheme of things in the world of trump, who is corrupt as fuck, its minor. For any other politician this would have been a career killer (see John Edwards).

Like I said though, it shows that this sort of thing was pretty common to trump.

I bet he deals in cash because it's harder to trace. I'm sure his connections to Russia require it.

REASON #6: THE FULL AUDIO ESTABLISHES CONTEXT. CNN appears to have wrongly attributed a reference to "David" as meaning David Pecker, head of AMI. But when Cohen talks about "information regarding our friend 'David'" he's referring to Trump's alias for adulteries, David Dennison.

Maybe Cohen will ad some context.

Actually exactly the opposite. Trump wrote checks so it was all traceable. If he had done it in cash and NOT documented it, they could get him for fraud. A big fat nothingburger and grabbing em by the pussy recording was 10x worse than this yet had very little effect on his base. Gotta do better than that, Mueller! haha
