Yeah I was LOL at that also on CNN.

Airbus has the biggest correct?
Unfortunately for them. 😛

the A380 iirc

A380's first flight

j/k 😛

"Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no..."

I think the plane was unmanned, testing a new autopilot or somesuch (no audio here, so forgive me if they say that in the vid).

No, that is an airshow demo of an Airbus A320 loaded with passengers and all. Several people died in that crash.

The pilot was supposed to make a low pass (not that low) over the runway. The offical version is that the entire thing was pilot error but it there is fairly convincing evidence that Airbus, Air France, and the French government covered up the real reasons for the crash (problems with the plane).

 Like the government has nothing better to do then cover up automated plane crashes.

I watched this on TLC in 6th grade. It's pilot error struggling to overcome autopilot. If you've played flight sims, it's not too hard to tell the airspeed was much too low and perfect for landing. Anyone with a brain would've pushed the throttle up. It was the autopilot being too difficult to disengage compared to Boeing aircraft that resulted in the crash.

You mean the French Government that owns a significant stake in EADS (Airbus parent company)?
