Your refusal to include all of the context is defining you as a person.
You know, I've noticed that you find "context" justifying the left doing the exact same thing for which you condemn the right in pretty much every instance. With such amazing luck, I'd like you to feed me some winning lottery numbers.

You should show me that. I'd be excited to get that feedback.

My point is that you continue to leave Trump out of this situation and he made it a thing. No Trump, nothing that followed.

werepossum would die for trump. Let that sink in.

I don't disagree one bit that this one is a dud, but my point was that the parent company of CNN is funding a play where every day, Donald Trump is brutally stabbed to death at the same time that CNN is claiming that a silly Internet meme of Trump body-slamming a CNN logo is literally an assault on Western civilization and a danger to their personnel.

The assassination of Caesar is not presented as a good thing in any way, especially for the conspirators. This play is literally a statement about political violence being a bad idea. Meanwhile, the meme is presenting the violence as a good thing.

lol CNN threatens a guy making a GIF they find embarrassing as "an invitation for people to take a look at themselves"?

With a reach like that, I certainly hope you played professional basketball.

You're doing the reaching, trying to avoid the fact that it quit being about the gif but rather about the Hanassholio persona some while back. Had it just been some guy making a joke that would have been the end of it.

The thing that's what pretty much every major cable news network in the U.S. did to Trump during the primary... including the Charlatan News Network.

You can't depend on any cable news network from the U.S. anymore sadly.

Now that CNN is made to look like a fool (which it has become since Ted Turner left... but by not means the only one) it gets all salty and goes after the guy who produced it...

Nothing like a corporate entity going after the little guy (albeit a troll) and some just let it slide because they hate the president....

I remember when Bush W was in office and there was a movie whose plot involved his hypothetical assassination...
I refused to watch it even though I think that members of the Bush administration did need to be brought up on war crimes charges.

CNN is not the victim in this. It is a victimizer who was glad to find that the person who created the CNN wrestling .gif is also a racist troll so that they can pretend to take the high road.
Nevermind the fact that they (along with the other cable news channels) happily provided Trump's campaign with a lot of free advertisement for ratings.

Depend on what? to be perfect? no, to try and tell the truth and get to the bottom of a story, yes.

That depends entirely on the host who is on the U.S. cable news channel at the time.

Personally I'll stick to local news and BBC news for the most part.

You're all over the map, doing your best to miss the point entirely. Trump & his entourage have routinely employed material gleaned from the anus of the internet, the realm of hateful alt-right trolls & bigots. This is no different.

The upshot is that CNN found a guy who realizes that he has a problem with compulsive trolling. Too bad more people can't figure it out because it's like the crack cocaine of the new millennia. It fucks up people's heads.

It's also astoundingly obtuse how the purveyors of such hate can be portrayed as victims, particularly over something that never happened to them. No doxxing occurred.

CNN? Bravo! They helped one such fool see the light & seek salvation.
