This all occurred 2 MONTHS before the London bombings. If the U.S. had questioned him, he may well have been in custody on the date when the bombings were carried out.

This has nothing to do with jihad camps and everything to do with the U.S. potentially getting intel that could possibly have prevented the Tube bombings.
