Developing still. 🙁

Reporter on site just said, "Large number of casualties." Might be suicide bomber.

Witness. "The whole front of the hotel has collapsed, lots of blood, large parts of the hotel is burning and there is nothing to put it out with." Not exactly but the jist of it.

36 confirmed dead so far.

I blame Islam, for promoting a culture that encourages this kind of extremist behavior.

That is a naive and over-simplistic view of the situation. Islam doesn't live in a vacuum.

Interesting that a bunch of Jews would be vacationing in Egypt and all at the same hotel. I'm not Jewish but I would not feel safe vacationing there either. Sounds like a catastrophe. I wonder what the hotel looks like right now.

I'm wondering the exact same thing. I still can't find any pictures. Which is kind of weird considering the time that has elapsed.

How soon until Bush milks this for his own selfish purposes?

Probably not as long as some liberal starts using it in thier own arguments.

Its sad, the democrat candidate is so mundane and pathetic americans need to die to make him look good. Do ya think Kerry enjoys these events?

I do.

A novel way to call oneself a sucker.

Here's some pictures - Link.

Nothing but file photos of the actual building though.

Even when this happens on Egyptian soil, look at what the puppets pipe out:

Egyptian government spokesman Magdy Rady linked the blasts to the Israeli military operation against the Palestinians in the neighboring Gaza Strip, where 84 Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli offensive that began on Sept. 29 to stop militants from firing homemade rockets into Israel.

"I think the explosions are very related to what is going on in Gaza," Rady told AP. "We condemn these attacks, which have harmed many people."

(AP) Emergency personnel cross back into Israel carrying victims of one of three explosions which...

"I think it is very probable that there is a link between these three explosions," he added. "It is very unlikely they happened by chance."
Which attacks is he condemning? From what I read - he's talking Gaza. He has absolutely no clue if it is related to Gaza or not.

I hope Egypt's tourism industry collapses.

Rady said the explosions are sure to have a negative effect - at least temporarily - on Egypt's tourism industry, one of the country's economic mainstays.

"There will be damage definitely to the tourism in the area," he said, "but I hope it will not last long."
I hope it lasts forever.

So collective punishment against Israel is wrong but collective punishment against Egypt is cool? It's your kind of vengeful thinking that creates the cycles of violence. Anyway I guess this is where you shriek troll...

Actually, I won't shreik troll because this is one of the few times you haven't trolled and actually addressed the post.

The "collective punishment" I was speaking of was economic, not strapping a bomb to their chests like your jihadi heros do.

Honestly, who's the troll? My jihadi heros?

So you think economic collective punishment is okay? So it's okay with you if people boycott Israel? If you didn't have any economic might, how would you retaliate? Heck, the US is the most economically powerful country in the world but it wasn't good enough for Iraq. Why can't Muslims use violence like Irael and the US does?
