Yeah, well i like the zen micro better just for looks and they're slighty cheaper. though im not interested in 5gb players. just 20gb or more...so i could care less for the micro or mini 😀

If that doesn't make Skoorb come out of hiding, I don't know what will.
Irregardless of that, iPods are still largely overrated/overpriced relative to the competition.

There are so many reasons why ipods arent worth the money. Ok, I'll be using the Zen touch as an example

1. twice the battery life of the ipod
2. easier to use
3. better sound quality
4. a LOT cheaper (and still a high quality product)

WHY buy an ipod?

i dont know where you get that

but it is not a LOT cheaper

4 GB ipod mini 199.99 4GB zen micro 179.99

6GB 249.99 6GB zen micro 229.99

battery life of the zen 12 hours

ipod 18 hours

i will give you #3 based on previous gen ipods and a new ipod mini i havent heard any tests performed

never used a zen micro but have used a zen

personally i don't think any mp3 player could compete with the ipod interfacewise without a scroll wheel but lets just say that is a wash

i have only pulled from official specs

edit: NM i though you were refering to the Zen Micro like the OP

Factor in that the Micro has a built in FM tuner. You have to pay extra for that on the IPod, and it makes it larger because of the expansion unit. The Zen also has a replaceable battery, and the iPod has to be sent in for service if the battery goes dead. With extra batteries, the Micro could in theory last for as long as you wanted. Sorry, edge goes to the Zen Micro.

Cnet.com are the biggest haters of the iPod. iPod rules. Those losers need to get over it. They act like they can single-handedly change the market to buy the Zen Micro. People arent that dumb, iHope.

you are just mad because you purchased an inferior product

You need to realize that the iPOD isn't the be-all, end-all of MP3 players, there are lots of other superior products out there, and often cheaper than the iPOD but provide greater functionality. They've caught on as a fashion trend nowadays.
