CNBC reporting Gadhafi may have been shot and killed!!!

Wow. I watched reports that the tribes in Libya wanted to kill Qadafi and were like to be successful in forcing him form power, but I'm surprised Qadafi didn't get out.

That's if this is correct.

CNBC.com is saying 'the US government cannot confirm rumors'.

Al Jazeera is highlighting Libya coverage but says nothing of it; they have the best reporting IMO.

I would be more inclined to think "Ambitious Army Officer(s)", than tribesman. But it's all conjecture.

My money is on a Gadhafi double getting the 'ol third eye put in and the real Colonel still dodging bullets from/in the lap of luxury somewhere.

Maybe should we check to see if one of his kids grabbed the bank account on the way out the door... :sneaky:

They've all got their own shell companies and ministries to pilfer from. Doubt they're getting much from daddy these days.

If the reports are true about Kaddafi being shot by someone in his camp, I don't think a dead Kaddifi will pass go, collect 200 dollars, or 72 virgins.

Using his own army and hired mercenaries to murder his own unarmed countrymen protesting his rule is about as low as a human being can go.

At best, if Kaddafi remains alive, he can expect to face charges as an international war criminal.

Or shack up with Michael Jackson 😱 D:

That guy'd be a hard one to find a double for. Not as easy as Saddam was.

Saw an interview that CNN was showing. I think Will Ferrell would be perfect to play him...or if we are lucky, Will Ferrell is Kaddafi's double.

BTW, why are there so many ways to spell this guy's name? Which one is correct? I have seen it start with a G, Q and K.
