CMOS - checksum error?

i have a Iwill KK-266+R
40 gig WD ATA 100 HDD
GF3 Ti200 PNY VERTO
Tekram SCSI card
Video Capture Card
SB LIVE! Value
NETGEAR FA311 nic...

and everytime i power down or restart the computer never restarts... it always restarts... everything turns on expect my monitor which goes into standby mode and i have to power down (hold the power button for 4 seconds) and turn it back on real fast... then it boots.. but upon booting again.. i get the CMOS - checksum error and it knocks all my bios settings back to defult, ive cleared the cmos... and i have tried another board with the same result.... help!

Checksum erros general mean there is a problem with your Ram. Try a different stick of Ram and see what you get.
