CMOS checksum bad

I've tried flashing my mobo with the latest asus bios version (1010). I've tried using the Asus flash utility in windows, and EZflash in DOS and both will flash the bios, restart, and then give me the CMOS checksum bad message. How do I go about fixing this? Each time I had to hit F2 to make it use default settings.

You bios is being flashed. I think the reason you are getting the checksum error is thing don't match up. It should give you an option to enter setup. Go into the bios and set it the way you want it then save and exit. You should be fine then and won't get the checksum error.
