CM Mystique

This is a great case, I picked it up a month ago for $20 AR and I really like it. I have not received the rebate yet but CM sent me notification emails for all three rebates (Case + PSU + CPU cooler all for $25 AR shipped) so I know they have them. Hopefully I'll get them soon.

The case itself is fairly light and compared to my P180 louder though the fans that come with it are low RPM so they don't make much noise. It resonates the HDD noise due to the al metal but I'm ok with that.

Not the same item, but also named Cooler Master Mystique and apparently they don't look much alike, either, but cheaper and aluminum.

COOLER MASTER Mystique RC-632S-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum/ SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail (above)

vs

COOLER MASTER RC-631-KWN1 BLACK MYSTIQUE ALUMINUM MID TOWER ATX CASE W/ WINDOW

http://www.svc.com/rc-631-kwn1.html

$40 - $30MIR + $18ish shipping West to East Coast

They also have a socket775 FAR hsf and another AMD/775 hsf for $5AR which will only bump the shipping up to around $21.

The name is the same but the SVC one is the prior model. The only difference is the front panel/door/face. The SVC one is an updated version of the Wave, while the NewEgg version has a completely redesigned front. Internally they are exactly the same. I have the SVC one it is a a very good small tower.

Issues
You cannot reverse the HD's in the cage, meaning that you have to have the drive connectors displayed in the window
The channel to hide cables from PSU to lower section is OK but it shows its age versus modern cases

Likes
Light and very good looking with clean lines

I got in on a similar deal from SVC on a silver 631 last Spring. I "*really* like it...

I did notice that" you cannot reverse the HD's in the cage, meaning that you have to have the drive connectors displayed in the window" but it doesn't really bother me. Someone was saying that grommets could help the HD noise.. have not tried that yet... I was not sure which grommets would do the best dampening.. any suggestions?

I love the looks and funcionality of the door.... the way it reverses is very well designed, imo. I the spring tension when it shuts is just right.. so nice a feel it is worth mentioning, imo.
