I am currently looking at buying a Coolermaster Hyper TX 2 CPU Cooler and was wondering if this is wise at all, at some stage i will be selling my current PC and want to get the most money for it, do you guys think the CPU cooler will add A LOT of value to my parts or not? just remember i will most prob be selling it to some kid who isnt too clued up on stuff, so is there a point in spending that $20 (i think, bcoz i stay in SA) or should i rather stick with the stock 6000+ cooler with AC5 Heat Paste? I dont go over 60 degrees on my CPU so the temp isnt the issue, i just want to sell it for the most possible, and i will be holding on to the pc for another year or so, so is there value in that or should i rather just save up and go big on Core i7 and whatever i get for my current rig i just accept?

It probably not gonna add much value to the PC, but depending on how long you're keeping the comp you could overclock a bit. Oh, and get the Xigmatek S1283 instead

I don't think it is worth it - certainly if your temperatures are ok now, you are not going to increase the clock speed, and you are looking to sell it.

The Hyper TX2 does look impressive in a system (I use one myself) and works well for me, so if you end up selling your old rig to an unsophisticated buyer, it might get you at least your investment back - maybe more. Then, again, almost anything of intrinsic value may have more value than most currencies at that time (worst case scenario - a bucket of US$s buys you a potato)... Who knows, barter systems may have replaced most fiat currencies by then.

Here in SA we dont really get Xigmatek and the likes really, its more just CM, Asus and those types of brands. Quite sad actually esp seeing how there are so many good brands out there that most people dont even hear about :( and i am gonna use the CPU + mobo + RAM + GFX for another year or so and then im moving up in the world, so i mean for R200 its really cheap for summin that performs a good function and looks GREAT, so im not 100% sure. Hmmm and it is OC to 3.2GHZ from 3 GHZ
