CM HAF 932 Fan Controller (Asus P6T Del., i7 Build)

I just bought components for an i7 920 build along with the CM HAF 932 case. The Asus P6T Deluxe mobo is on its way thru the mail so I haven't started hooking things up yet. The thing is I am currently looking for a multi media panel with fan controls, USB outlets, LCD temp reporting, and mem card readers. I am not sure if I will be controlling the fans or not but I would like the option to. Here are the two panels I am considering to buy, wanted to know if yall think either would be compatible with the mother board as far as being able to use all the panel's functions and ability to control the fans.

If none of these panels won't work, what would yall suggest?

to me, all those muti-functional bay drive things suck. i haven't found a good one with a zillion wires messing up my case yet. i use a Sunbeam Rheobus to control all of my fans on my HAF, but it doesn't mount well with the HAF's crummy dive bay mounting mechanism

What one would yall recommend that has an LCD on the fan controller that displays CPU temps etc....?

I can get a separate panel for the multi memory reader outlets.

you really don't want those. they dont actually display the CPU temp. any temps they display are just case temps with little temperature probes.

why do you need all these "panels"?

I would suggest just a standard fan controller and then use a monitoring software for CPU temps and such. The HAF already has USB and Firewire on the front panel and you can just pick up a cheap memory card reader then.

^^ exactly, i always use my MB to monitor temps and fan speeds.

well i only monitor my CPU fan speed (pump). other fans i control manually by knob.
temps i monitor with CPUID Hardware Monitor

Whats the lowest RPM setting that the HAF 932 case fans be set to?

The only reason I want the CPU temp panel is because I have always had one in the case I use now. I glance at it all the time during the summer months because the temps can get quite elevated. With it being on a panel is way more convenient than having to open some program to look at it.

i dont know the exact RPMs. they are controlled manually by a rheobus.

but i can tle lyou for a fact that the 230mm fans are VERY VERY quiet at 700rpm. the rear 140mm fan @ 1000rpm is VERY VERY quiet also. i'd rate them a 9/10 on my quiet scale. comparable to my 1000rpm NExus 120.

What sensors do those "panels" read from? from those little temperature pads that u stick somewhere inside your case right?
there is no way those are accurate enough to give you CPU/IHS/GPU temperatures. i'd much rather have a sensor reading that is installed WITHIN the hardware (CPU) to tell me my core temperatures.

if u want, get a second monitor and open up speedfan on it or your other fave HW monitoring program so u can monitor ur temps and fan speeds 24/7

Or if you're adventurous, buy an LCD Bay from FrozenCPU and program it yourself to display temperatures from a monitoring program.

Very funny.... I think the sensor is is plugged into the motherboard some how. I bought the case with the mobo already installed so I'm not sure. Right now its not working at all but hwen it was, it was off a few degrees so it just gave a general idea of the temps.

I am quite the tinkerer so may look into that. I will be putting togther my build today and tomorrow so I wont be buying any extra panels or controllers until I see how things operate.
