I plan on buying a Q6600 when the price drops and am looking for a good motherboard to support it. I've been looking at the following two motherboards, since they had a pretty good review:

- GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775
- ASUS P5B-Plus LGA 775 Intel P965

Can anyone give me some tips, or maybe suggest another motherboard I may be overlooking?
I don't plan on overclock, but I read I still may need a better cpu cooler than the one in the box.

So far I recently purchased the following for my computer:
Antec P180B ATX
Crucial Ballistix 2GB PC2-6400 800MHz
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 640MB

Thanks for all your input.

For overclocking I would have to say the 680i series from evga A1 revision. For stability the intel boards. And as far as I know to be able to upgrade to a penryn quad then yes the p35 boards.
