I'm curious if anyone knows of a sticky note style app/widget that syncs to the cloud and functions so that you could have a sticky note widget on a phone and on a PC and have them be 1:1 synced.(I already use Google Drive/docs for some things but I think a reminder sticky note that had this function would be very useful)

What OS on every given device?

Notes on iOS and OS X I think does that these days.

Windows and Android are what I have in mind but it would be nice if it also worked on iOS.

Dropbox does this, in that you can create a text file from the Dropbox app on your phone which would then automatically sync to the Dropbox folder on your PC.

I think he wants something in his face, which I can totally get behind, I am trying to do the same thing myself. Though I could be projecting in this regard.

As mentioned above I already use Google drive to sync documents across devices. I'm looking specifically for a widget that will keep the same sticky note on my PC and phone at the same time. Primary purpose is just for quick reminders. I'll look into evernote

What about GTasks? It can sync to your Google Tasks, so when you edit it on your phone, the changes show up in Tasks on your PC (or mobile if using a mobile device like an iPad). Has a widget that lists your tasks (can be scrolled too).

for quick notes i use gtasks since i have igoogle always open...kinda bummed its getting shut down next year, but thats a year away, and maybe by then gmail wont suck.
/it used not to suck.

my friends uses notes on ios, which uses his gmail account, apparently.

for long term notes i use one note, which has a great skydrive, ios, and androip app to complement the office app. if you dont have office, then evernote.
