This evening Soledad O'Brien will be keynoting the annual "Evening to Promote Racial Justice" for her work in addressing some issues often ignored by the press.

I was told by the event coordinator that as a student reporter, I can ask her one question.

This event has a chance to be published in UW Milwaukee's newspaper (I am a student not working for the paper, so it must be a good report to qualify). I want to make sure my question isn't something that I'll find a generic answer on.

I leave for the event in an hour or so. So... thoughts?

Ask her what she thinks about current US and Cuba relations and if the US should lift some of the restrictions so we can all go vacation there. (Her mom is from Cuba, so she should have an interesting reply.)
