Close encounter with John Kerry

Went down to watch the marathon yesterday at downtown Framingham, Ma (by the RR tracks). I looked over to my right and guess who was standing next to me? He just sort of walked over, had a relative or something in the race and was cheering them on. Alot taller than I thought he'd be- tallest guy in the crowd.

Boston Marathon crowds are well behaved and extremely enthusiastic. Nobody was bothering him, and he appeared to have no security at all (at least none that I could see).

Nah, he had his daughter with him and I didn't want to bother him. Actually sort of took us by surprise. He has no office in Framingham, and I guess he was trying to be inconspicuous. Most of us were too involved with cheering the runners on anyways.

If you're in the Boston area and get a chance to come out and cheer the runners on it's a lot of fun.

I will say that he looks much better in person than he does on TV.

Cool! Did you say anything to him?

Hopefully something along the lines of "Thank god you aren't President".

God (remember to capitalize that now) forbid we have someone above the IQ of a three-toed sloth in office.

I honestly wonder how Republicans would feel if the two companies that own the electronic voting machines were owned by Uber Liberals and Kerry had won 😉

They'd be crying, acting like 2 year olds, plotting revenge...not really behaving that much differently than some of them do now.

Neither should be president.

Republicans would be whining and moaning about "conspiracies" and other such non-sense JUST LIKE THE DEMOCRATS are now and 4 years ago. And what would you be saying to the Reps? *hint: you'd be gloating, calling them un-American and calling shenanigans on their attempts to begin an investigation just like the Reps are now.. so get over it! -

You should capitalize God in that sentence, since it is the first word. 😛

yup, the loser almost always ends up a regular schmo. I think Mondale works as a greeter for Wal Mart now.

It's nice to know the average people in the street have more respect than some of the people in this forum.

I should know better than to post something like this here.
