Cloning W2K

We have many different computers with diff hardware at my work and we are trying to roll out a win2k image to all of them. Is there a way to roll out to many diff types of hardware with only one image that was created on only one type of box?

Yup, I have done it a few times.. All I did was go to the device manager and uninstall all the devices of the computer I was imaging.. Then restart and make an image on the drive.. That way when you recreate the image on the next pc's they will just boot and install all the new hardware.. Works perfect for me..

i wish i could get that far david... i keep getting the BSOD from hell. "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" is the cause of my woes. even if i try to go into safe mode. i did some research about how the HALs have to be compatible with each other to be able to use an image that was cloned from a box with diff hardware. but it sounds like the mobo (and alot of other hardware) has to practically be the same model for a w2k cloned image to work. u can find me @wit's end...
