Cloning using different lcd

Now that I have a 3007wfp and a lg 20"

2560x1600 , 1680x1050 I tryed using the clone option in catalyst but it will move the image around on the LG, Is it possible to put a second desktop there, or have it cloned but at a seperate resolution??
